as comfy as these were, they were ultimately a no. they looked kinda charming belted, but I was really only tempted by them for nostalgic reasons: they look and feel like lazy summer pants I had in younger, skinnier days. the truth is that these pants were too big, and I know I would regret them in a very short time.

meanwhile: an 8 that is too big for me? I can tell you right now I have a pair of size 8 Old Navy capris sitting in my summer clothes box because I hope that I will one day fit into them again. same brand, same supposed size, vastly different fit on the same person. doesn’t seem right, does it?

these are super stretchy and comfortable, look good with everything, and they were ridiculously cheap. they have fake front pockets, which annoys me, but the back pockets are real and the fabric is thick enough that they don’t look like, well, you know — leggings. I snapped them up!
